Renting a display is great way to stretch your trade show marketing budget further. When people think of trade show display rentals, they usually think about very large custom rentals or a simple bland pop-up display or panel system. However, the reality is there are plenty of options in between. Displayit.com plans on expanding our online rental options in 2009, we are in the process of updating our website and we don't have all of the options listed. In early 2009, we will list more rental options for counters, exhibitline displays, and lightweight graphic backwall displays. If you want to get a sneak peek at some options send me an e-mail and I'll hook it up. Perhaps, you are not sure if a rental display is the best option for you. Here are a few questions to consider:
- How many shows do you attend? If you plan to use a particular booth configuration more than once a year, rentals might not make sense. However, if you use a particular display once a year, renting would save you money, and allow you to update your exhibit each year.
- How long do you want to use the same display? If you like to vary the look and feel of your exhibits, rentals provide great flexibility
- Who is going to setup your displays? If you have sales people from around the country that are setting up and caring for you exhibits, rentals could make a lot of sense. I've found that when multiple staff people are using exhibits they don't hold up as long and if you aren't doing a ton of shows, rentals can take the burden of maintenance of your staff.
