We are getting closer to the beginning of Exhibitor2009. 30 days from now, I will be in Las Vegas, NV setting up for the show. With 30 days to go we've done the following:
- Designed and completed our booth
- Completed all show forms
- Shot video footage for our virtual booth page
We still have been plenty of work to do. We need to finish our postcard mailer and pre-show e-mail designs and print our marketing materials for the show, but we've done lots of work and are in good shape time wise.
What is unfortunate is the majority of the clients we work with start the process of designing and building their trade show booth less than 30 days from the show. When we talk to them, they haven't thought about what their message will be, or their show plan in general. One of the main reasons I had for creating this blog diary was to give our clients an idea of the planning that should go into your trade show programs. Truthfully, we started about 60 days out and we probably should have begun earlier.
We shot our videos today. They should be edited sometime next week. Below is a picture of me in action in front of the camera. Go easy on me once you see them next week.
